Pictured is Keith Simpson, our shooter of the month ~ Again! Keith is a past president of the club and an accomplished trap shooter. He won the shooter of the month award taking out the &high Gun& at our February monthly trap event..
A competent skeet shooter, we expect to see Keith in the "shooter of the month" column again before very long.
Previous month‘s winner Aubrey Cormack. Aubrey won first place in the handicap event during our annual two day trap carnival in September last Year.

Our Mission StatementTo provide modern, up to date facilities and equipment to the people of Toowoomba and district and visitors to the club for the enjoyment of clay target sport. To encourage youth to take up the sport and to promote the sport in every way possible.
Many Competitions are staged each year. 
One of these is the "Malcolm Main Memorial Trophy" ( Mal. is pictured left).Mal Main died of a heart attack in 2007, he was our caretaker. This event is held in March and features the "Warwick Challenge Shield"
Clay Target shooting is one of the most popular and fast growing of the target sports. The firearm used is a "shotgun" with "clay" targets 100mm in diameter and 20mm thick. These are launched by the "thrower" at consistent speeds and varying angles, thus providing the three clay target disciplines of ":Down the line"; " Skeet" : and ":Sporting Clays"...
